Foundation Meeting of LiSoG

Linux Solutions Group e.V. (LiSoG) was founded on March 7, 2005.

The Linux Solutions Group foundation meeting took place on March 7, 2005, in Stuttgart. Among the 29 original members were global players in IT, small and medium IT providers, but also users, cities, communities and scientific institutions.

In the course of the meeting, the board of Linux Solutions Group was elected.:

  • Chairman of the Board: Dr. Karl-Heinz Strassemeyer, IBM Deutschland Entwicklung GmbH
  • Deputy Chairman: Richard Seibt, Novell Europe
  • Karl-Eugen Binder, Stuttgarter Lebensversicherung a. G.
  • Heiko Erhardt, skynamics AG
  • Dirk Haaga, Red Hat GmbH
  • Niels Mache, struktur AG

The administration of the LiSoG office was assigned to MFG Baden-Württemberg.
